Apollo Racing really do have spoke deal!

Definitely not an April Fool!

OK, so back on April 1st, there was a little spoof story about a fallacious spoke deal.

However, shortly thereafter, your friendly webmaster (that would be me then), on behalf of Apollo Racing initially, has actually struck a deal with Ison Distribution for the supply of the rather fine Halo stainless spokes at 'trade' prices.

Having now built a few wheels with Halo spokes, I can confirm they are of excellent quality. They're also available in a wide range of sizes (mostly in 1mm increments) so whatever rims and hubs you use around the 20" size, you should be able to get the correct size of spoke.

If you want to be a tart, they're also available in black at no extra cost; while if the additional outlay is worth the weight saving, Halo make double-butted versions too!

Furthermore, Ison are quite happy for me to purchase spokes and other items as may be useful on your pedalcar(s) on behalf of other teams.

There are a few conditions involving minimum order quantities and values, however with a little forward planning these are no problem. Additionally, I expect some decals to be arriving with our first order. Any team taking advantage of this account will be asked to carry some of these on their car(s) as this deal represents a significant sponsorship value when compared to buying similar items at retail.
